PROJECT SUMMARY

This project involved a full loft conversion alongside a rear extension at a residential property in Wimbledon, SW18, designed to significantly increase both internal living space and overall property value. The brief focused on expanding the home while maintaining architectural consistency with neighbouring properties, ensuring the new works blended naturally with the existing structure. Careful planning of layouts and volumes allowed the additional space to feel cohesive, well-balanced, and integrated into the original home.

LINX Design & Build delivered the project on a fully managed design and build basis, overseeing all structural alterations, steel installation, and construction works. Traditional London stock brickwork and slate roof tiles were selected to match the existing façade and roofline, providing durability and visual continuity. Electrical, plumbing, heating, insulation, and internal finishes were completed to a high standard, with full building control compliance and final sign-off achieved. Delivered over a 20-week programme, the completed loft conversion and extension provide a high-quality, long-lasting upgrade consistent with Wimbledon residential standards.
